Vintage Radio cassete Hitachi *LevelMatic-Solid State* with detachable speakers

Year – 1968

Amazing and rare radio made in Japan by Hitachi.

Some functions:

Can work with battery (battery compartment)

Audio Recorder with mic *not included

Music recorder form another device

Speakers with independent sound, each one adjusts its sound

Detachable speakers, can be removed and placed several meters from the radio (depends on the length of the speaker wire)
**In the photos I have the speakers attached but just pull them up and they detach from the radio easily,

**on the web you will find some very interesting videos of this radio explaining all the functions.

Defects or repairs:

– The left speaker is making noise/resonance, perhaps it needs some adjustment to the wire or some humidity may be present as it has been stored for many years.

– The (>>) front and (<<) back buttons are not working correctly, they do not rewind.

– Some signs of use and age are visible.

The radio is playing (see video), apart from the defects mentioned above, I think it is a good purchase as it is a very rare radio from Hitachi and the defects can be resolved.
